Weatherhead-Law School Networking Event

Sponsored by: Weatherhead Student Experience Office and Law School's Student Services Office

Date & Time: Friday, April 11 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Eastern)

Join us for an opportunity to network with CWRU law and business students while touring Playhouse Square!  Right here in Cleveland, Playhouse Square is the largest performing arts center outside of New York.  Playhouse Square’s five theaters have hosted the likes of Frank Sinatra, Fred Astaire, Judy Garland, Bob Hope, and Katherine Hepburn to name a few.

During our private tour, you will be guided through four theaters: The Allen, Ohio, State, and Palace.  Depending on what is available and accessible on the day of our tour, you will have the opportunity to see the theater lobbies, auditoriums, backstage areas, dressing rooms and rehearsal halls.  While touring you will hear facts about the history and renovation of these 1920 era theaters.

When: Friday, April 11 at 3pm.  Tour will start promptly at 3pm, so don’t be late.

Where: Playhouse Square!  Enter through the State Theater – 1519 Euclid Avenue.  We will be gathering near the Customer Service Center Security at the far right corner of the State Lobby.

Directly after our tour we will walk over to the Winking Lizard for a happy hour and opportunity to mix and mingle with other law and business students.  Appetizers will be provided – students are responsible for their own beverages.

There are several parking garages in the Playhouse Square area, or you can choose to take the Health Line directly down Euclid Avenue, which will drop you off right in Playhouse Square.  For details on the Health Line schedule, go to http://www.riderta.com/routes/healthline.

Students must RSVP for this event by Monday, April 7.  Space is limited, so don’t delay!
