Jonathan S. Pyzoha received a BS in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Miami University. Before completing his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech, Pyzoha worked as a financial statement auditor at KPMG LLP on multiple large, publicly-listed companies in the insurance, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals industries. Motivated by his experiences as an auditor, his research interests include judgment and decision-making in accounting and auditing contexts related to executive compensation, auditor independence, corporate governance, audit committees, and auditor-client negotiations. Pyzoha's teaching interests include both auditing and financial accounting.
