Class of 2008                                                                                                               

Joe Tichar, BS '08, management, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Corporate Operations, and retains the title of Chief of Staff for Developers Diversified Realty Corporation. Joe will continue to serve as a member of the management, executive, compensation, enterprise risk management, and charitable contributions committees; participate in all Board meetings and play an integral role in quarterly earnings announcements, press releases and all investor relations activities; serve as a critical conduit in the continued development and refinement of the company's branding and corporate communications strategy; and, lead the management training program and all aspects of our summer internship program. Additionally, Joe has become increasingly active in our pursuit of untapped investors in our company stock and regularly represents us before the retail and institutional investment communities.  

Class of 2007

Matthew P. Maloney, MBA '07 was named Director, Operations Research & Supply Chain Master's program at the Weatherhead School of Management. This newly created role was created to help the OR/SC students with their professional and career development as well focusing on corporate relations as it applies to this program. Most recently, Matthew worked in e-commerce for the Little Tikes Company in Hudson, Ohio.

Class of 2005

Jared Oakes, MBA '05 has been named a partner in Thompson Hine's Real Estate and Corporate Transactions and Securities practice groups. He regularly represents Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), Real Estate Operating Companies (REOCs), institutional investors, lenders, private equity funds and other public and private investors, developers and owners of commercial real estate, with a particular focus on retail/shopping center assets. This work includes counseling clients in the acquisition and sale of commercial properties, repositioning troubled assets, entity planning (including formation and structuring with respect to joint ventures, limited partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations), leasing, development, asset management, commercial lending and debt restructuring. In addition, Jared devotes a significant portion of his practice to providing strategic counseling on corporate real estate matters and complex real estate litigation.

Class of 2001

Rebecca Oettinger-Feder, MBA '01 is assuming a new role as the HR Business Partner for Tyco International’s CFO and world-wide finance team. Rebecca has a proven track-record delivering organizational and talent results in marketing, R&D, finance, sales and operations divisions across multiple industries.  She will work closely with the  Leadership team to create a world-class Finance organization to help Tyco deliver its mission to ‘advance safety and security by finding smarter ways to save lives, improve businesses and protect where people live and work.’
